Guided by Cantor Daniel Benlolo's profound vision, the Montreal Shira Choir has become much more than a musical ensemble; it is a true vehicle for transformation and fulfillment. "I am not only shaping musical melodies, but also helping to nurture their spirit, strengthen their sense of belonging, and create an environment where each person's uniqueness harmonizes beautifully. This experience gives me a sense of purpose and joy that words can hardly express," shares Cantor Benlolo.

With its new home located within Decarie Square, the choir's expansion takes on its full meaning. This creative space includes welcoming offices, a spacious rehearsal hall, and a versatile auditorium ready to host their powerful live performances. The official ribbon-cutting ceremony, held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 6:30 PM, symbolizes the choir's growth and its unwavering commitment to the community it serves.

Rebecca, a dedicated volunteer, shares her passion: "Volunteering for the choir has become one of the great passions of my life. Being able to regularly experience the power and joy that these exceptional individuals bring to the world is a privilege I never take for granted. I am still amazed every week by their talent and their zest for life. They inspire me to become a better person and have given me a sense of mission for which I will always be grateful."
